What do we achieve by practicing with Atlas?

Research in mathematics education supports that Atlas Math is a positive and necessary tool for learning. Each activity follows the concrete-representational-abstract model, replicating the learning process from classroom sessions, where knowledge is constructed.

How do activities adapt?

Local adaptation. The Help button will reduce the level of abstraction offering immediate support.

Global adaptation. The algorithm assigns activities according to level, content worked on in class, and detected difficulties.

Reports and Monitoring

Track each student’s progress with detailed reports and make data-driven decisions to better support them in the classroom.

Access real-time reports for each student, class, and school.

To ensure knowledge retention, it is essential to apply spaced repetition. Thanks to technology, we can revisit content at different times and in various formats to reinforce memory and facilitate consolidation.

Each time we revisit a concept, the forgetting curve decreases, and retention improves. This strategy also supports developing automaticity with key concepts, such as multiplication tables, enabling students to recall them with agility and confidence.
Students don’t just learn, but remember and apply what they learned months later.

Program Structure

Atlas Math is a small part of all the mathematics they do at school. Before downloading Atlas, we wanted to introduce you to the two classroom dynamics where students learn mathematics.

3 or 4 days/week

Knowledge-building sessions

Students build knowledge through hands-on activities, guided discovery, and problem-solving.

45 minutes/week

Personalized practice sessions

Students consolidate knowledge and work independently with Atlas Math.
