COLLABORATION

Contribution to educational outreach

At Innovamat, one of our goals is to support the education community by providing high-quality resourcesaccessible to everyone.

In 2023, after its release in English a few years earlier, “Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics” fell into our hands and we were thrilled. We recognized it as a valuable resource to foster debate and reflection, and since then, we have recommended it as an excellent read for all educators.

A few months ago, we had the opportunity to meet the book’s author, Peter Liljedahl,in the United States. We quickly connected, exchanging ideas about mathematics learning.

These discussions opened the door for us to collaborate on the Spanish edition of the book, helping to bring it to more educators. This edition, published by NED Editions, features a foreword by Cecilia Calvo, Laura Morera, and Albert Vilalta.
